I am a current freshman undertaking studies, majoring in Civil Engineering. Prior to my enrolment, I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic with a relevant diploma, in Civil Engineering with Business. As a student, I was exposed to the broad industry that is civil engineering, and unconsciously gravitated towards it. What intrigued me was the process of construction, and the different criteria that needed to be met before it could take place. This was one of the reasons why I continued to pursue Civil Engineering, as it felt like there was always something new to uncover while learning.
